I hate to do this, but I’ve got a BIG favour to ask. Something pretty exciting has happened and I’ve been dying to share it with you ever since I got the news. I received an email few weeks ago, an email that I really did not expect, to say that I’ve been nominated at the Amara Interior Blog Awards 2016!
I’ve been nominated in the Best Design Inspiration Blog category and I simply cannot believe that me and my little blog are part of this prestigious competition this year. I’ve found some of my favourite blogs thanks to the #IBAs which just goes to show what a great company I am in.
I still find it a little difficult to believe that people actually read my blog and enjoy the content. I’m going to be honest with you, as much as I blog for you, I also blog for myself. I thoroughly enjoy it and it’s an outlet for me to express ideas, experiences and things that inspire me. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I am so honoured to be just nominated and the thought of winning or getting shortlisted hasn’t really crossed my mind (I’m a realist and there are a lot of amazing blogs and bloggers in my category this year that have been doing this a lot longer).
However, I would absolutely love to get shortlisted and in order to do that I need your votes! It would be amazing to attend the awards ceremony in the Ham Hotel in London in October and I’ll promise to share every little detail with you afterwards if I do happen to get the invitation.
