‘Finnterior Designer’ is an interior design & lifestyle blog curated by me, Pia Orr. I share my passion for interiors and home decorating through my website, occasionally dipping my toe in entertaining (cocktail making!) and other lifestyle topics. I started my blogging journey back in 2014 as a result of buying a fixer-upper in a leafy suburb of South East London with my husband. I’ve loved sharing our renovation ups and downs (and the occasional milk bottle incident ‘thanks to’ my lovely daughters), although my blog has evolved a lot since.
We moved into our new house in 2021 and I cannot wait to show you all the things I’ve got planned. I would describe my current decorating style as a mix of traditional and modern design with a strong emphasis on natural materials, sustainability, and investing in quality that will last a lifetime. I’m also a huge fan of Nordic/Scandi design (I’m originally from Finland!) and like adding a bit of bohemian flair to interior schemes.

I’ve also been nominated for an Amara Interior Blog Award 4 years in a row and I was shortlisted for an Amara Interior Blog Award in the ‘Best Use of Photography’ category in 2020. My blog is listed as one of the UK’s Top 50 Interior Design Blogs by Blog Feedspot (currently ranked at number 29). I’m also an interior design student at KLC School of Design.
