I’m Pia, founder & editor of the award-winning Finnterior Designer Blog.
I started blogging in 2014 after buying our first fixer-upper in a leafy south-east London suburb with my husband. Since then, I’ve shared everything from renovation highs and lows to styling tips and lifestyle finds. In 2021, we moved just down the road to our long-term family home, where I’m taking my time creating a space that feels just right. You might even catch a glimpse of Lumi, our new cat, appearing in the shot.
My style blends 1920s period charm with soft Scandinavian minimalism—think mid-century lighting, cosy bouclé textures, and natural materials. Sustainability and quality are always at the forefront of my mind. I’m passionate about strong visuals and photography plays a key role in my blog. Being Finnish definitely influences my love for all things Scandi!
I studied interior design at KLC School of Design and was honoured with the Home & Garden 2025 Award. Finnterior Designer also ranks #19 on Feedspot’s Top 60 UK Interior Design Blogs.
