We are finally making progress with our fireplace room, although there is so much that needs to be done still. I wrote a little reno update last month of everything we’ve done so far. The new Spanish stone fireplace and the newly restored parquet flooring have made a huge difference already. I am thrilled with the choices we’ve made so far, but realistically it won’t be until next year that I can reveal the full make-over. That means I have plenty of time to source all the right products, materials, and furniture for this space. And I already know the colour of the walls which is massively helpful. I have a pretty clear vision of how I want this room to look. I’m going for modern rustic decor with a hint of luxe and boho. But next year is still a while away so I wouldn’t be too surprised if I change my mind once or twice.
