Flowers happen to be such a thing for me. Whether fresh-cut or dried, I just can’t get enough of them. A lot of it has to do with inviting nature in, I think. Being surrounded by plants and flowers makes me feel happy and relaxed and I’m sure most of you can relate to that. That is also why I love a good-sized vase. Nothing better than having just the right vase to go with your favourite flowers, right?
I’ve also found myself being drawn to organic shapes and textures recently. The same goes for vases. I love an artisan-looking textured vase. It’s almost like they tell a story, or two. And of course, I also love discovering new homeware brands, especially when their ethos aligns heavily with mine.
Panache Artistry is a brand-new luxury home decor brand that challenges conventional notions of luxury. A quick glimpse of their website confirmed my initial thoughts; yes, I would quite happily fill my entire home with pieces from their wonderful new collection. The homeware brand embraces slow living and mindfulness resulting in a relaxed modern luxury look that won’t date.

DRIED FLOWERS
I am a big fan of dried flowers, especially during the summer months. Fresh-cut flowers don’t do too well in the heat, unlike dried flowers which last for many years. I love pairing this vase with a neutral dried flower and grass bouquet. It looks so minimalist and timeless and will bring instant beauty to your decor. I prefer to keep the dried flowers neutral so that they don’t distract you from this exquisite vase. I love the rough texture and the simple design of the vase. It complements our stone fireplace beautifully too, don’t you think?
FRESH-CUT FLOWERS
The best part about summer for me is that I finally get to enjoy our garden flowers indoors too. We have four hydrangea plants which produce the most beautiful big, fluffy blooms. I would be careful when using stoneware vases for fresh-cut flowers as they don’t do well with moisture due to their semi-porous qualities. Thankfully, this vase is internally glazed which means it’s not totally porous, but to be safe I just placed a small container inside with water to keep the hydrangea stem looking fresh. You could also let your hydrangeas dry naturally and skip the water part. I love the look of dried hydrangeas!
DECORATIVE BRANCHES
Decorative branches have become hugely popular in interior styling. They are perfect if you are going for that natural, rustic look. I grabbed a few pretty stems from our garden which seem to fit the vase perfectly. When using real branches, ensure your vase is sturdy enough to stop them from toppling over. This stoneware vase is ideal with tree branches and bigger flowers. It’s quite heavy and robust. Also, I wouldn’t worry about symmetry too much. Real branches will look perfectly imperfect and that’s the whole beauty of them! You should get at least two weeks out of flowering branches, as long as you remember to change the water every 3 or 4 days or so. Branches with leaves should last a bit longer.
MY VERDICT
There are so many different ways you can style this ceramic vase that you’ll never get bored with it. I’m also really impressed with the quality and aesthetics of this vase. It may be a minimalist design but adds a lot of texture and depth to any space. The vase also came in a beautiful gift box which was a nice touch. I can only imagine that the rest of Panache Artistry’s homeware collection and furniture are equally luxurious and high quality.
