PERSONALISE YOUR GIFTS WITH ENGRAVERS GUILD OF LONDON

*This is a collaborative post with Engravers Guild of London.

Can you believe it’s almost December? I’m not sure where the last few months have gone. We’ve finally started Christmas preparations. Most of the decorations are up and the real tree will be picked up this weekend. So exciting! Unfortunately I haven’t bought any Christmas presents yet. There has been so much going on lately that I just haven’t prioritised it until now. Luckily there is still time and I will be doing all my Christmas shopping online (again).

This year I’ve been really struggling with gift ideas. Especially for my husband who already has everything (or tends to buy what he likes when he sees it). I was so happy when Engravers Guild of London got in touch with me. The idea that you can engrave almost anything from marmite jars to perfume bottles is just genius. I also love that Engravers Guild is a family owned business that traces its heritage to 1887 in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter. They have the most beautiful selection of engraved gifts that you can preview in real-time before making the purchase.

Engravers Guild kindly gifted me a piece of jewellery in exchange for a review on the blog. Their jewellery collection is vast and impressive.  However, I had my heart set on this Turquoise Gemstone Necklace pretty much straight away. It’s such a statement piece and looks so effortlessly chic. It’s part of the hidden gem collection by Ania Haie bringing a dash of colour and fun to any outfit. I have a very similar bracelet I bought at a market in Dubai few years ago, which will go perfectly with this piece of jewellery.

The complementary engraving is made on the reverse of the necklace with the most finest diamond-tipped cutters. I was able to see exactly what it will look like on their website before ordering. You simply type in the text and choose the font you want. It was so easy and comforting to know that all the text will fit in the space intended. The font looks so beautiful. I was really chuffed when the necklace arrived and I could see the little message (‘Enjoy the little things!’) engraved at the back.

The service was super quick too. It took app. 2 days but they also offer next working day delivery in the UK. The necklace arrived in a stylish gift box with a pouch and gift card. I know my husband would love their engraved pen or the aftershave. Luckily there is still plenty of time for Christmas shopping. I will be doing my Christmas shopping online to keep the stress to the minimum and obviously it’s a lot more convenient too. If you’re looking for the perfect gift this year, head over to Engravers Guild of London. You can check out HIS and HERS sections if you need some inspiration.
